Description

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Site Supervisor to supervise day-to-day construction activities at our road construction project sites in Chhattisgarh. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, manpower, materials, and equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion of assigned works.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily road construction activities at the project site.
• Coordinate and manage site manpower, equipment, and material deployment.
• Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and instructions.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Manager, QA/QC Team, Survey Team, and Equipment Operators.
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities.
• Supervise activities such as earthwork, GSB, WMM, bituminous work, drainage, and other road construction works.
• Check workmanship and ensure required quality standards are maintained.
• Ensure proper utilization of construction materials and minimize wastage.
• Monitor availability and utilization of construction machinery and equipment.
• Report equipment breakdowns, material shortages, and site issues to the concerned Engineer or Project Manager.
• Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain daily records of manpower, equipment, materials, and work progress.
• Assist engineers during site measurements, inspections, and quality checks.
• Prepare and submit daily site progress reports.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of road construction activities and site execution.
• Understanding of highway construction methods and construction equipment.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate manpower effectively.
• Ability to read and understand basic drawings and construction instructions.
• Good knowledge of construction site safety practices.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Strong site management and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility

• Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma
• Experience: Minimum 2+ Years in Road Construction
• Relevant Experience: Experience in Highway / Road Construction preferred
