Description

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Site Supervisor (Milling Machine) to supervise milling machine operations at our road construction projects in Chhattisgarh. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and quality execution of milling activities as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of milling machines at the project site.
• Ensure proper deployment and operation of milling machinery as per the work plan.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, Operators, and other site staff.
• Monitor milling depth, width, alignment, and overall work quality.
• Ensure proper removal, collection, loading, and disposal/stacking of milled material.
• Coordinate with tipper operators and other equipment for smooth material movement.
• Maintain daily records of machine hours, production, fuel consumption, and work progress.
• Monitor machine performance and immediately report breakdowns or technical issues.
• Coordinate with the mechanical team for preventive maintenance and breakdown rectification.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, method statements, and safety requirements.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and safe working conditions around the milling operation.
• Monitor manpower and equipment utilization at the work location.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports to the concerned senior engineer/Project Manager.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of road construction and road milling operations.
• Ability to supervise heavy construction equipment and site activities.
• Basic understanding of milling machine operation, maintenance, and safety.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage site activities and manpower effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project schedules.
• Knowledge of site safety procedures and construction practices.

Eligibility

• Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years in Road Construction
• Relevant Experience: Experience in Road Milling / Highway Construction will be preferred
